Discount Tire is always my go-to, but this location has probably done me a better service than anywhere else and I’ve lived all over Greater Houston. Today they recognized my budget restraints and found me with the best options. I actually resisted a few times because money really is tough right now, life be lifing bro. But I know they just want me to get the most out of my tires and more importantly want me to be safe on the roads.

Paid $136 each for two “Road Hugger” tires. Less than 10,000 miles later, one sidewall blew out. We all know Houston roads are rough, but I expected better based on the high rating they showed me on their system at checkout. One employee said it was covered under warranty, another said it wasn’t. Save your money my $76 replacement tire from Amazon has 4.5 stars from 11k+ reviews and cost just $11 to install at Walmart. No regrets.

Despite how busy the store was, everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. I feel as though I got the best price on my tire and wheel after both had to be completely replaced. There were other customers here screaming about the wait and being aggressive with the men at the counter and I was very impressed by the way the employees kept their composure and deescalated the situation. Great store.

The guy doing tire checks on 4/16 tried to get over on me because I was a woman and said my tires were bald and my back had a puncture he couldn’t find and couldn’t even put any air in it. I went to take 5 next door and they said they were fine and said I just needed air.

Great location. Noticed the same manager from the Heights location, great guy. They helped me out with the tires that were wearing off 2/32 in under 1400 miles when the manufecturer suggests about 35000 miles on full tire, and with a staggered fitment, it would be half the life. My tires were wearing 5 times faster than the worst-case scenario. Guys recommended going with the all season instead of the summer tires, and that's what i did. Very knowledgeable staff!
