I was referred to Halston from a buddy , and when we first had spoke seems like he was the guy to go to with a simple rebuild on my ls3 . 8k and a year later I’ve learned that was not the case . I should have followed my gut and just order the motor I was going to from Thompson . At the beginning Halston was responding to my questions I had and had told me it would be a 6-8week time frame for the motor to get done . After about 2 months into the process I could barley get a responds back from him or anyone at the shop , after bill was paid in full it was like my motor had gotten put to the back burner . After months of trying to get updates and give chance after chance I had enough and went to pick my unfinished motor up and get a refund on work that was not done only to leave with barely $700 & missing parts that have been paid for . I will never recommend anybody to take your motor here I don’t care if he was the best engine builder in the world I would rather go with the second best then to deal with this again horrible communication & horrible service . I picked up a bare block with shaving all still in it and was told it had already had final cleaning . It’s sad when people make a Facebook page dedicated how you’ve stolen from them.

Located in Florida and was recommended to contact Halston at H Squared Racing. I personally do my own work and tuning, but a 2500hp capable block is something I needed assembled by professionals. I did my research and found that this is a shop that does quality work that is proven both I and out of the track and hard to beat. I’m the type where I don’t let other people touch my cars but Halston was very patient with me and gave me the confidence that I was in great hands. Car is now making 1400 wheel hp with a lot more left in the tank and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for your great work H Squared!

Halston and Cameron are a great team and always go the extra mile for me. Whether it be a complete engine rebuild 24 hrs before an event, any machining, or advice/input towards my builds, these guys are always a pleasure to deal with!

Cordial, fair, and professional. Took a 30 year old block, headers, and intake for a hot tank and clean up. They did the work quickly at a fair price, even though the components were very tough to clean up due to age and use. Recommended.
