🔧 Gonzalez's Auto Transmission

This shop replaced my transmission in the time promised and at a very reasonable price. They were great to work with.

Had my transmission rebuilt around a year ago for $1200 and it went out. Took it back to them to see what they could do and it just sat there in the shop for about 10 days. The first time I took it there it took nearly three weeks for the rebuild.

I had a problem with my 99 Dodge Ram. Transmission went completely out. I shopped around and not only were they the most reasonable but after meeting Mr. Gonzalez I felt comfortable with his honesty. He not only had my truck ready to go on time but was extremely proffesional. You can't beat the six month warranty either. I highly recommend them.

Mr Gonzalez fixed my 2003 Impala , he told me 1 week ,it took 2 . a few days after the so called FIX my transmission started slipping I took it back He told me to put a few more miles on it it would stop , It did NOT !! For several weeks he gave me the run around ,he also talked to me like I was beneath him. I had to have a Male friend show up with me in order for Mr. Gonzalez to even look at my car . I was told to bring it in a week ,well the car he said nothing was Wrong with Stopped going backwards and forwards , I had it towed to him . His Son Mr. Gonzalez was much nicer and told me to give them a week to ReBuild my transmission again. It took 2, and a few days . Less than 4 months My transmission wont go Forward or back . I am unable to locate my Warranty that was in my Glove Box and Mr. Gonzalez refuse to HONOR his work .Before he did the work my car would go it would just slip gear after the work it wont go at all ! I am out $1400 plus 4 weeks rental car fee and NO CAR

Rating should be no stars but I had to select one or couldn't post! Sad to report how hard it is to trust mechanics and these guys are not trustworthy. About 6 to 7 months ago, the Gonzalez people fixed my transmission. well they got paid to fix it and with only 6 months of warranty; needlees to say, it went out . These people are not mechanics. They are rats. They take your money and run. They are a joke and I'm out $3K +/- and a working truck. To top it all off, they're from Monterrey Mexico. Don't support these guys!
